The Ames Green project is the third Phase of the Ames Lake neighborhood redevelopment. The Ames Green buildings, which were originally built in the 1960’s, had multiple owners and were in desperate need of repairs. The substantial rehabilitation plans called for the removal of four of the eight buildings and the combination of two-bedroom units into a two story three-bedroom, the construction of 22 townhouse rental units and a community center. The end result is a reduction to 55 one, two, three and four bedroom units.
